From our coastal farm in Ayrshire we have been
supplying Bartlett’s with potatoes for over 25 years. We provide the company with early season
Osprey, Maris Piper and Maris Peer. As well as
growing potatoes we also grow grass and
cereals as winter feeding for our large herd of
cattle.

As a farmer it is important to encourage wildlife
on the farm as they can assist in the growth of our crops. It is for this reason that we have taken the opportunity to work with the National Trust for Scotland to encourage wildlife preservation along the coastal areas of our farm. Finally I was the Chairman and Chief Executive of First Milk, which is the largest dairy farmers’ co-operative in the UK.
