From our Cupar Angus Farm my son and I have
been supplying Bartlett’s with potatoes for10 years we grow 4 varieties for them; Maris Piper, Cultra, Desiree and Saxon. As well as potatoes we also grow spring barley for malting, winter wheat for livestock feeding, oil seed rape for vegetable oil and rear cattle. We are committed to environmentally positive farming practices to help to maintain and enhance particular wildlife
habitats and landscape features. It is for this
reason that we joined the Rural Stewardship
Scheme. Being part of this scheme allows us to
develop areas that will encourage and increase
the wildlife in our area.

My son and I enjoy being involved in our local
community, at present David is Junior Vice
President of the Alyth and District Agricultural
Society, however the real big story is that in the
mid 1980’s I was Tug-O-War World Champion!!
