A.J.Allan Ltd are based in Brechin, Angus. We grow 425 acres of potatoes in and around Brechin, and have been supplying Barletts with potatoes for over 20 years. We supply them with Maris Piper, King Edward, Marfona, Desiree and more recently Purple Majesty. Over and above our potato growing business we are also Seed Potato Merchants and act for a group of local seed growers supplying seed direct to English Farmers and exporting seed to all parts of Europe and North Africa.

We are very aware of our responsibility to protect the environment and we aim to grow our potatoes with that in mind. As such we are Assured Produce and Natures’ Choice accredited and members of the Safe Haven Scheme for seed potatoes. Back to Farmers
