Meet the farmers

Graham Reid

I have been growing potatoes on the East Coast of Angus for Bartlett's for 23 years and provide the company with the two varieties, Desiree and Osprey. However our farming operation is not all potatoes, we also grow barley for malting and wheat for feeding livestock.

We are keen to encourage different kinds of wildlife to the area and like to provide habitats that will hopefully suit them.

On our farm we have created grassland strips in cereal crops to allow young birds to dry off and feed, therefore ensuring survival.

We also constructed a footpath through farmland to allow for public access.

I am also a keen golfer and participate in both the active and social golfing events! Back to Farmers
