MEET THE FARMERS

Peter C Grewar and Young Peter Grewar

We have been supplying Bartlett’s with potatoes from our farm in Perthshire for over 20 years. We grow a wide range of varieties for the company including, Osprey, Vivaldi, Saxon, Maris Piper, King Edwards, Estima, Orla and Bartlett’s Rooster variety, many of which we also grow organically. Aside from potatoes we also provide land for Bartlett’s carrots, as well as growing wheat and malting barley.

Extending from this is our dedication to the environment. We are involved in several schemes such as Operation Bumblebee, Rural Stewardship Scheme and the Countryside Premium Scheme. These schemes give us the opportunity to improve and maintain the environmental features that surround our area. As a company and a family we like to be involved in the local community activities in particular Young Peter is Chairman of the Farm Management Association, which is an agricultural discussion society.
