MEET THE FARMERS

William and Donald Jack

We have been supplying Bartlett's with potatoes for the last 23 years. On our costal farm in North-West Ayrshire we grow 3 different varieties for the company; Epicure, Maris Peer and Ayrshire Royals. We also cultivate spring barley as well as producing silage and grassland for our sheep and cattle.We regularly provide local stores with the first crop of Ayrshire New Potatoes.

Our environmental management encourages and protects different forms of wildlife and insects in our area and is beneficial to our crops. Situated next to the coast we have an area that has been designated to the ESA due to containing some unusual plants. We like to involve ourselves with the local community, William is a director of a local charity that caters for individuals with learning difficulties and aims to provide them with occupational therapy.
