Kestral Potatoes

Kestrel potatoes are distinguished by their beautiful blue eyes and cream coloured skin. It has a long oval shape and a very smooth creamy texture.
It has a dry matter of about 17 - 18% with a firm, semi waxy texture. It is a second early crop and was originally grown in 1992.

Due to their great shape and creamy texture they are exceptional for boiling, baking and roasting.

In October 2010 Albert Bartlett launched 'Scotty' Brand using Kestrel potatoes.
