SPICED ROOSTER OVEN CHIPS - 45 minutes
SERVES 4
INGREDIENTS
- 700g Rooster Potatoes, washed and cut into thick wedges
- 4 tbs Olive oil
- 1/4 tsp Ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp Ground coriander
- 1/4 tsp Paprika
METHOD
- Pre - heat oven to 225°C / Gas 7
- Place a roasting tray into the oven and leave until tray is very hot.
- Pour the oil into the tray, arrange the potatoes in a single layer onto the tray, return the tray to the oven and roast the potatoes until golden brown, turning once or twice.
- During the last 5 minutes of cooking sprinkle the spices over the chips.
- Remove potatoes from the oven, sprinkle with sea salt and serve with garlic mayonnaise or your favorite dip.
